In fall of 2023 I Hope to be selected for Next-gen following nationals, from there my goal is to play for the U16 national team in the spring. In the future I would like to play at varsity level and potentially team Canada.

TEAM STAFF
Paul ‘Bubli’ Chohan (Head Coach)
One of most accomplished Canadian field hockey players, he played in three Olympic Games, three World Cups and six Pan American games. He has 317 caps for Canada and was the Canadian flag bearer in the 1995 Pan Am Games. In 2014, Bubli was inducted in the inaugural class of the Field Hockey Canada Hall of Fame in the Athlete category.
Chohan started coaching at a club level with West Van Vipers Women’s teams. He was Assistant Coach of the Men’s team in the 2000 Olympics and also for the Junior Women’s National Team. Over the years, Bubli has coached in several BC Provincial and Regional programs, sharing his knowledge and experience with our youth players, and is currently coaching with the Polar Bears.

Mia Fitzpatrick (Assistant Coach)
Mia Fitzpatrick has been coaching for seven years and has experience with all ages from U10 to U18. She is a competition introduction certified field hockey coach who has been an assistant coach for provincial teams in Ontario and British Columbia, and with several clubs across both provinces. Mia also coaches ice hockey in Burnaby in the winter months. She was an assistant coach on U16 BC Blue in 2022 and is excited to return to the program again this year.
