Who do you admire most in Sport? Hannah Haughn. Not only is she an extremely talented field hockey player, but she has the best attitude and work ethic that I’ve ever seen. She’s also one of the most humble people I know and her honesty and integrity cannot go unnoticed

Began Playing Field Hockey: Age 11; I started playing field hockey because my dad played and I decided to try it. At first it was just another of the many sports that I played, but over this year I have been playing hockey a lot more and it has become more than that.
What I Love About Field Hockey: I love the teamwork of it, how everyone has to work together as a unit. I love the drive and determination it requires. I love how it bonds people together and it brings me so much joy to play. Especially at the T2C Tournament and at Nationals last year, I enjoyed playing each game and playing with teammates that were working as hard as I was and who were as determined as I was.
Biggest Inspiration: My dad inspires me. He is a very important part of my life and he shows me what it means to have courage and strength. He has taught me so much and has coached me field hockey for many years. I am so grateful for all the time and effort that he has put into coaching and supporting me.
Long Term Sports Goals: My field hockey career goals are to continue to work hard and train lots to improve my skill. I would also like to within the next few years have to opportunity to go on a tour with NextGEN and to have my first junior international appearance. One day, I would like to go to the Olympics and play on the Women’s National team. It would be amazing to represent my country while playing a sport that I love.
Biggest Sports Highlight: Making the T2C BC U18 Rams team this year; Being selected to train as apart of the FHC NextGEN program
