The UBC Thunderbirds won the U Sports National Championship on Nov. 4th, marking the 7th-straight time the squad has hoisted the McCrae Cup. UBC defeated the York U Lions by a 2-0 margin in straight games to win the best-of-three Championship series.Continue reading

Mathias Ahrens has joined FHBC as the Regional Head Coach for Male Athlete Programs on the Mainland. Mathias has a long history of coaching including appointments with National Teams in Scotland, Canada and India. We are sad to announce the passing of Nancy Plechaty on October 5th, after a long battle with cancer. Nancy worked for Field Hockey BC as the Events, Officials & Schools Program Coordinator from March 2011 to Sept 2014. Our condolences go to her family and friends at this time.
