NCCP Coach Education Opportunities

Coach Education is important because coaches are community leaders who can inspire passion for sport and physical activity. Having trained coaches contributes to a quality sport experience. Participating in coach education can significantly increase a coach’s confidence in their abilities. Individuals can enhance skills, improve performance, and increase their value to their athletes and organization. Coach Education also helps us create a safe sport environment as proper training helps people recognize maltreatment and prevent or address it.

As we approach the introduction of Minimum Field Hockey Coach Certification Standards, we encourage coaches to take advantage of current subsidies and upcoming opportunities.
