The Field Hockey BC Foundation is now accepting applications for a number of bursaries which provide financial support for athletes, coaches and officials. Visit the FHBC Foundation website for a full list of bursaries offered through the Foundation, as well as their eligibility requirements and application windows.
The following bursaries are currently open with an application deadline of March 27, 2019:
FHBC Athlete Assistance Bursary: The Field Hockey BC Athlete Assistance Bursary is designed to support male and female athletes in the FHBC Regional Program. An award of up to $500 will be distributed to encourage the continued athletic development of our Regional Program athletes.
Allyn Murison Grassroots Bursary: The Allyn Murison Grassroots bursary is designed to support female athletes under the age of 12 in their field hockey development. Five awards of up to $100 will be awarded with the purpose of helping young athletes get involved in our sport.
FHBC Coaching Development Bursary: The Field Hockey BC Coaching Development bursary is designed to support the professional development of FHBC coaches at any level. An award of up to $750 will be distributed to the successful applicant(s).
Jenny John Officiating Bursary: The Jenny John Officiating bursary is designed to support the professional development of FHBC umpires and technical officials. An award of up to $750 will be distributed to the successful applicant(s).
