Congratulations to the Canadian Men’s National Team on qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Bhubaneswar, India! Canada finished 5th at the Hockey World League Semi-Finals in London, thereby clinching a spot in the prestigious Hockey tournament next year.

Canada had a strong performance at the Hockey World League Semi-Finals, which serves as a qualification for both the 2018 World Cup, as well as the Hockey World League Finals in December. Canada finished the tournament with a 3-3-1 record, with their losses coming from tight matches with higher ranked teams, the Netherlands, India and England. Most importantly, Canada came through when it really mattered, and booked their ticket to the World Cup with an impressive 3-2 victory over India, currently ranked 6th in the World.
