In 2016 the FHBC Foundation distributed grants to financially support several members of the field hockey community.
These grants helped grassroots players pay local club and league fees, regional and provincial athletes pay program fees, post-secondary athletes continue their field hockey participation, and coaches and officials pursue professional development and opportunities.
